Gems Magherafelt

Gems Magherafelt has traded from Meadowlane Shopping Centre for more than twenty-five years as a family-run jeweller, selling sterling silver and 9ct gold pieces, watches from brands such as Fossil and Michael Kors, and gift jewellery for children and christenings. A dedicated diamond counter within the shop, branded Mid Ulster Diamond Centre, specialises in engagement and wedding rings, including a bespoke design service for couples wanting a ring built to their own specification. Staff also carry out repairs and remodelling of existing jewellery. The shop is a single unit within the shopping centre rather than one of a chain, and continues to be run day-to-day by the family that built it up. It opens six days a week, with Sunday afternoon hours added for shoppers passing through the centre.
