Micro-brewery in the old engine room at Rosemains Steading, a working arable farm on the Preston Hall estate near Pathhead. James Kerr brews, with his parents Peter and Christine; they started in 2022. The brewery runs entirely on electricity, half of it from solar panels on the site, and buys its ingredients in the UK, including barley from Fife. Most of the beer goes out in cask to pubs, with bottles sold online and through selected shops.
