Knitsley Farm Shop trades from East Knitsley Grange Farm outside Consett, run by Rachael and Edward Jewson. An on-farm butchery supplies meat from animals reared on site, and an on-site bakery makes bread, pork pies and cakes from scratch. The attached Granary Cafe serves breakfast and lunch, and the shop was highly commended in the 2023 Countryside Alliance Awards.
