Laura Lee throws and fires ceramics from a studio within Hall Farm Gardens at Harpswell, near Gainsborough, on land owned by Pam and Mark Tatam. A graduate with a first-class degree in Fine Art and Crafts, Lee specialises in raku firing, using combustible materials such as wildflower cuttings in the process to produce the translucent, metallic surfaces particular to the technique. She was a finalist for the SCAF Emerging Artist Award in 2025 and is a member of the Crafts Council Directory and the Society of Designer Craftsmen. Her raku taster days run through spring and summer, priced from £75 to £90 a head, and include a hamper lunch taken by the farm's medieval moat and four fired pieces to take home. The studio itself runs on solar power, and sessions are booked through Eventbrite.
