The Greensand Railway Museum Trust works from Page's Park Station on Billington Road, Leighton Buzzard, and was set up in 2000 as a registered charity to restore narrow-gauge equipment from the First World War supply lines. Its first project, War Department Light Railways No 778, a Baldwin steam engine, entered public service in August 2007 and remains the only one in working order in the UK. Attention has since moved to armoured Motor Rail "Simplex" No 2182.
