Loch-Hills PlantCentre

Loch-Hills Plant Centre, on the edge of Ellon, was established in 1996 and is run by proprietor Mrs A Macgregor, trading as Loch-Hills Plant Centre Limited (Companies House SC800791). The nursery grows and sells shrubs, trees, bedding plants and hardy perennials suited to the North-East climate, alongside compost, seeds, pet food and animal feed, with click-and-collect and next-day delivery available on selected lines. Staff on site advise customers on plant selection and care, and the centre runs occasional gardening workshops through the year. It is one of the longer-established independent nurseries serving the Formartine area north of Aberdeen, distinct from the larger garden centre chains found closer to the city. Opening hours change with the season to reflect demand and daylight, with fuller hours through spring and summer and a reduced midweek pattern over winter.
