Michael's Butchers, Bistro& Deli

Michael Thomas runs his butchers, bistro and deli from The Triangle in Malmesbury, England's oldest borough, combining a meat counter with a kitchen open for breakfast and lunch. The shop cures its own bacon and smokes chicken on site, alongside a run of more than 80 cheeses, pates and olives at the deli counter. Michael's breakfast sausage took the Champion Sausage title at the 2025 Taste of the West awards, following the business's 2023 win for South West casual dining. Sandwiches, pies and cheesecake pots are made fresh daily for the counter and for office catering orders. The kitchen serves Tuesday to Saturday mornings into early afternoon, with the shop open slightly longer on the same days.
