Rawlings of Cranleigh has traded from Devon House on the High Street since 1988, under proprietor Robert Rawlings. The shop makes its sausages on site in a dedicated sausage room and bakes its own pies in the kitchens behind the counter, alongside a delicatessen counter stocking cheese and other specialities. Everyday cuts run from roasting joints to pork steaks, with Beef Wellingtons and stuffed chicken cushions made up to order, and the business also caters hog roasts, lamb roasts and barbecues for events across Surrey and West Sussex. Robert Rawlings has spent his career in the butchery trade and trains the shop's staff himself. The shop opens Tuesday to Saturday and closes on Mondays.
