Robert MurrayStamp Shop

Bob Murray established this Edinburgh stamp shop in 1977 and has run public auctions alongside it ever since; his first job after school was at the old Edinburgh firm of Dowell's Auctioneers. The business is now winding down — some 80% of stock sold, several areas cleared entirely, no longer buying — with two or three opening days planned for September 2026. Valuations of stamps, coins, banknotes, postcards and medals continue by appointment, from £60 an hour.
