Rugby Distillery is a family-owned small-batch gin distillery at Home Farm on Pailton Road, on the edge of Rugby, run by Richard and Emma. It distils in-house rather than contracting production out, and the range takes its names from local rugby history: the 1823 Dry Gin, an 1878 Navy Strength at 57 percent, and flavoured expressions including rhubarb, Menton lemon and orange. Alongside bottle sales, the distillery runs gin schools where visitors make their own bottle on a small still, plus tastings, cocktail sessions and private and corporate events on site. Production and visits both happen at the one farm location, with direct and online sales rather than a wider retail chain. It sits in open countryside a short drive from Rugby town, with booking advised for the experiences, and tours and gin schools run to a scheduled calendar rather than daily drop-in.
