Sustainable Roots is a zero-waste refill shop on the Square in Kintore, begun by Carole Taylor as a kitchen-table operation called Taylor Made Refills in 2019 before opening its own premises in 2022. Customers bring containers to refill cleaning products, pulses, lentils, herbs and spices alongside other local goods.
