Terminal Records has traded as an independent record shop in Haverfordwest since the 1980s, run throughout by an owner known locally simply as Martin. It began life as a stall in the old Riverside Market on the town bridge, moving to its current unit in the Courtyard Shops off Swan Square in 2016 after the county council closed the market building to convert it into the new library. The shop deals in new and secondhand vinyl across genres, along with CDs, DVDs and a small range of turntable and hi-fi accessories, and has built a following among collectors searching out out-of-print pressings. It is one of only a handful of dedicated vinyl retailers left in rural west Wales, operating from a single small unit rather than as part of any wider retail group. The shop's own website has been offline for maintenance, so customers are best served by calling ahead or visiting in person to check current hours and stock.
