Trevethan Distillery

Trevethan Distillery was founded in 2015 by John Hall and Rob Cuffe on the Tamar View Industrial Estate at Saltash, reviving a bathtub gin recipe created in 1929 by Cuffe's grandfather Norman Trevethan while he worked as a chauffeur on the Port Eliot Estate. The distillery now produces gin, rum and an aperitif from the same small unit, and runs guided tours and tastings explaining the distilling process to visitors.
