Trimontium Museum

Trimontium Museum stands on Market Square in Melrose, Scottish Borders, run by the Trimontium Trust, a registered Scottish charity. It tells the story of Trimontium, the largest Roman fort and settlement north of Hadrian's Wall, and the dealings between the invading Romans and the Iron Age tribes they met. Open seven days, 10am to 4.30pm. The Trimontium Experience pairs VR with staff and museum collections; guided walks run weekly April to October, with monthly talks alongside.
