The Dryburgh Arms sits on Melbourne Place in Newtown St Boswells, the only pub left in the village. Saul and Cath took over the freehold in August 2025, after Saul left a twenty-five-year career in oil and gas and Cath brought two decades of hospitality experience to the kitchen. The pub was sold with no tie to a brewery or pub company, and the new owners have reintroduced food after a period when the bar offered wet sales only. The bar stocks twenty-six gins alongside local ales and craft beer, and there is an open fire, a games area, and three en-suite letting rooms plus a family suite upstairs. Dogs are welcome in the beer garden.
