Western House is a bed and breakfast on Moor Lane in Llangennith, run by Steve and Pippa from a Gower farmhouse around 125 years old that they have owned and renovated for 27 years, making theirs the longest-established B&B in the village. Four en-suite rooms are let, two with sea views, decorated with the bright, patterned style associated with ceramicist Mary Rose Young and designer Kaffe Fassett, both of whom have influenced the interiors. Breakfast, served between 8am and 10am, includes traditional, vegetarian, vegan and continental options, with eggs from their own free-range hens. The garden has a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings and a barbecue area for summer use. Off-street parking is provided in the yard, useful given the narrow village lanes nearby.
