Siân and Andrew Brooks make Gower Gin in a converted bike shed at Port Eynon, near the western tip of the peninsula, distilling in small batches with foraged botanicals and an organic base spirit. Sustainability is not a bolt-on here — recycled packaging, foraged ingredients, an approach that won them Sustainable Business of the Year at the 2022 Wales Food & Drink Awards — and the gin itself has taken national medals, the coastal-flavoured Sea Star among them. They run tastings in the gin garden by arrangement, free, for small groups. A genuinely small, genuinely local distillery, making the Gower coast into a drink.
