Gower Ceramics

Christian Miller has thrown pottery for more than thirty years, having trained in Holland in 1989 under a traditionalist potter working in a Japanese-influenced style. Working from The Barn at Cheriton, he builds sculptural teapots and decorative bowls that combine thrown clay with copper, wood, shells and stone, drawing on the sand, sea and sky of the surrounding Gower coastline. Alongside his own studio and classes, his pieces are sold through Rhossili Gallery on the peninsula and, since December 2023, through King Street Gallery in Carmarthen. Miller teaches ceramics at the studio for visitors wanting hands-on instruction.
