Anwick Forge occupies a working smithy on Main Road in the village of Anwick, near Sleaford, that has stood for around two hundred years. Artist blacksmith Fred Suffield and his team hand-forge ironwork on site, working with architects, interior designers, conservation specialists and private clients on bespoke commissions such as garden benches and decorative ironwork. The forge also runs blacksmithing experience days, giving visitors a full day at the anvil under supervision, with gift vouchers available. Access is strictly by appointment rather than passing trade, so visits and commissions are arranged directly with the smithy beforehand. It is an independent, single-site business with no other locations, trading under Fred Suffield's name from the same forge throughout. The building's age and continued use as a working forge give it some local heritage interest.
