A family-run cycle hire based at Blackwell Mill in Wye Dale, at the western end of the Monsal Trail near Buxton. The trail follows a disused railway line for roughly eight and a half traffic-free miles through the lit Monsal tunnels toward Bakewell, and the hire sits right at its start. Bikes are available for all ages and abilities, from adult and children's cycles to electric bikes, tandems, tag-alongs, trailers and baby seats, with helmets provided at no extra charge. It opens seven days a week through the main season, and the nearby Wyedale car park makes it a straightforward place to begin a ride. Reviews consistently note friendly, hands-on service and well-maintained machines. It is an independent single-site operator, not part of a chain of hire centres.
