Bluestone Gallery

Guy and Ellie Perkins run Bluestone Gallery from 5 Castle Street in Hay-on-Wye, having relocated the business from Devizes in April 2021 after twenty years trading there. The gallery spans two floors and shows work from more than seventy British artists and makers: paintings and prints upstairs, sculpture, jewellery, ceramics and hand-blown glass on the ground floor. Stock turns over section by section rather than as one fixed display, so a visit in spring looks different from one in autumn. The move brought the gallery into a town better known for its bookshops than its art, filling a gap on Castle Street. It opens Wednesday to Saturday, 10.30am to 4pm, and stays shut Sunday through Tuesday.
