Jacob Kenedy and Victor Hugo opened Bocca di Lupo on Archer Street in 2008, naming it for regional Italian cooking rather than any single region's cuisine. Each dish on the changing menu carries the name of its home province, from Piedmontese vitello tonnato to Sicilian caponata, served as small plates from a marble counter or full portions at table. The dining room seats around fifty across two levels behind a plain Soho frontage. It has traded from this single Archer Street address since opening, without a second branch. The restaurant won a Michelin Bib Gourmand and Tatler's Best Wine List award in 2013, built on a cellar Kenedy selects personally by region. Kenedy, a Moro alumnus, studied at Cambridge before turning to professional cooking full time.
