A house museum a mile south of Bradford city centre, set in a quiet, leafy garden, with parts of the building dating from Medieval times. Two families, the Bollings and the Tempests, lived here across more than five hundred years; during the Civil War the household supported the Royalist cause and the house served as a stronghold during the siege of Bradford. Rooms are furnished by period, and the furniture includes a bed made for Harewood House by Thomas Chippendale. Bolling Hall Library is now housed here.
