Coffee Boxx

Sunny and Vik opened Coffee Boxx on Wood Street in 2018, turning a narrow shopfront into a neighbourhood coffee counter with a rotating brunch menu built from family recipes. Dishes such as spiced Mumbai-style scrambled eggs and a samosa toastie sit alongside single-origin espresso and filter coffee, a nod to the owners' family heritage. The counter seats only a handful, so regulars often take their coffee to the pavement bench outside or carry it onward to Wood Street market. Waltham Forest's coffee scene has grown crowded with newer openings, yet this small shop, known locally as Sunny's, has kept its own identity rather than following the borough's wave of speciality roastery expansions. Sunny and Vik still run the counter themselves, seven days a week, without a second branch.
