Corke & Caske trades on Hyndland Road as a combined wine shop, bar and tasting room, letting customers buy a bottle to take home or drink in on the spot. Up to ten wines are open by the glass at any time, rotated regularly so the selection changes through the year, alongside gins, beers and spirits sourced internationally. A weekly tasting session takes six wines through in a guided format aimed at drinkers who want structure without pretension, and private tastings can be booked for groups of up to twenty. A small food menu of charcuterie and cheese boards supports the drinks rather than competing with them. The shop has become enough of a fixture locally that its visitors have included Graham Norton, spotted picking up a bottle. It remains a single-site, independently run operation.
