Dragon Records is up a flight of stairs off Wellington Place, near the City Hall, and has been Belfast's old-school record shop since Jeff Doherty and Kelvyn Williams opened it in 2010. New and second-hand vinyl, packed in across genres, with the kind of staff knowledge that comes from doing one thing for a long time. There is no website to speak of — the shop is the whole of it — and that is rather the point of the place. In a city that has gained and lost record shops over the years, Dragon has stayed put on the first floor, sorting the crates for whoever climbs the stairs.
