Eden Pottery

Eden Pottery is a working pottery and paint-your-own studio on the Ards peninsula at Millisle, making hand-thrown, sponge-printed ware — the folk-pattern pottery of the Irish country tradition — and letting visitors have a go themselves. There is a café alongside, and the shop sells the studio's own pieces. It is a small, owner-run craft business of the useful kind: somewhere you can watch the work, buy it, or make your own, on a quiet stretch of coast that does not have many reasons to stop. A pottery you can visit, which is rarer than it should be.
