Farmers Farm Shop has traded from Little Court Lodge Farm on the Tonbridge Road at Teston, near Maidstone, since 1982, when the family business began by selling runner beans from a small stable block. It has since grown into a full farm shop selling its own orchard apples and other seasonal produce, a butchery counter, bread and cakes delivered daily from local bakeries, Kentish pies, honey, jams, and chutneys, plus fresh fish on Thursday mornings. An on-site cafe, open seven days a week from 9am to 4pm, serves breakfast and lunch to customers eating in or taking away. The shop remains a single-site family operation rather than part of any wider retail group, and continues to source the bulk of its produce from Kent growers and producers.
