Future Yard is a 280-capacity music venue and training hub in the middle of Birkenhead, opened in 2021 and run as a not-for-profit community interest company that owns its own building — its board required to live or work in the town. It puts on gigs, trains local people for careers in music, and has become a genuine engine of regeneration on the Wirral side of the Mersey. A grassroots venue owned by and for its community.
