Brewing real ale since 1993 and described as the oldest brewery on the Isle of Wight, Goddards moved in 2023 from Barnsley Farm near Ryde to a bespoke brewing centre at Hale Common, Arreton. Visitors watch the brewers from a mezzanine deck, with the shop upstairs and Goddards Bar & Kitchen serving breakfast through dinner daily. Brewing water comes from a spring at Knighton. It trades as part of Powder Monkey Group.
