Gower Heritage Centre has operated since 1990 around a watermill on the site that dates to the 12th century and still turns using its original mechanism. The grounds at Parkmill combine the working mill with a run of craft workshops covering blacksmithing, woodworking and spoon carving, plus a poultry park and tea garden. A small on-site cinema, La Charrette, screens films in what is often described as the smallest cinema in Wales. The centre is open every day of the year from 10am to 5pm and sells season tickets for regular visitors alongside single admission and gift vouchers.
