Harrisons of Greyabbey occupies 35 Ballybryan Road on the outskirts of the village, reached from the A20 towards Kircubbin. The Harrison family, farmers on the site for generations, diversified into growing plants around 2011, when the nursery and farm shop business was formally set up, and David Harrison now leads the nursery, sourcing bedding plants, shrubs, trees and more than a thousand hanging baskets a year. His wife Helen and sons Andrew and William also work in the business, which combines the nursery with a farm shop and restaurant overlooking Strangford Lough. It trades from the single Ballybryan Road site rather than as a group, keeping growing and retail under one roof on land the family has long farmed.
