Latte-da Coffee& Kitchen

Latte-da Coffee & Kitchen occupies a shopfront on Beaufort Street in Crickhowell, with a walled garden behind the café where customers can take breakfast or afternoon tea away from the street. The kitchen turns out cooked breakfasts, lunches and homemade cakes from a menu that changes with the seasons, built around ingredients from Black Mountain Smokery and Cashells Butchers. Coffee comes from Extract Coffee Roasters in Bristol, named Best All-Round Specialty Coffee Roaster at the UK Coffee Awards in 2022, and is served by baristas trained on-site. Cups and packaging are compostable, and used coffee grounds go to local community gardens rather than the bin. The café is dog-friendly and opens seven days a week from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Afternoon tea remains a fixture on a menu otherwise built around simple, well-sourced plates.
