Little Pomona makes cider and perry from a heritage orchard at Brook House Farm, south of Bromyard. Susanna and James Forbes founded the business in 2017, working initially from an orchard at Thornbury before moving production to Brook House Farm in 2019. Fruit is fermented using wild yeasts rather than cultured strains, and the range includes dry, keg-conditioned ciders such as Root & Branch alongside single-orchard perries and barrel-aged blends. The Hereford Times named Little Pomona its Cider Producer of the Year in 2019, and the business was a finalist in the BBC Food & Farming Awards' drinks category in 2022. A tasting room, shop and cider garden open on Saturdays from June to August, offering several ciders and perries by the glass alongside cheese, meat and vegan sharing platters.
