Middle Farm

Middle Farm sits on the A27 at West Firle, run by the Pile family's company John S Pile (Farms) Ltd across a 625-acre working farm that has been in the family for six generations. Its Cider Centre holds the National Collection of Cider & Perry, stocking draught and bottled ciders and perries from small producers alongside Sussex ales. The adjoining farm shop runs its own butchery selling additive-free meat, venison, partridge and wood pigeon, plus a cheese counter built around Sussex cheeses and an in-house bakery. Visitors can walk through the working farmyard to see livestock before or after shopping. The shop, cider centre and butchery all operate from the same single site rather than as a franchised or multi-site operation.
