Neon Raptor began brewing in 2015 and settled into its permanent taproom in the regenerated avenues of Sneinton Market in 2018, where the tanks share the unit with the bar and the can art shares a colour palette with nothing in nature. The beer runs to the modern school — heavily hopped, pastry-adjacent stouts, small batches that sell out on artwork alone — and the taproom's weekend hours make it the market quarter's sitting room. The market's Victorian avenues were built for wholesale fruit; they now wholesale flavour, and this unit does the heaviest lifting.
