Nicky-Tams Bar and Bothy has occupied 29 Baker Street since 1718, when the building was owned by Laird Craigengelt, whose family crest still sits above the door. The property later passed to the Weavers Incorporation, one of Stirling's historic trade guilds, before becoming the free house it remains today, unusual in a city where most pubs are tied to a brewery or pub company. The bar hosts live music and weekly quiz nights, and its walls carry a collection of classic album covers alongside stories of hauntings that regulars still discuss. Food is served daily alongside cask ales and a wide gin selection. Nicky-Tams also lets rooms and self-catering apartments above the bar for overnight guests visiting Stirling.
