Pa-pa Jewellery has traded from a single workshop and gallery in a converted stone hay barn beside the Gower Heritage Centre at Parkmill since 2013, when silversmith Phillippa Davies first took on the space. Davies designs and hand-fabricates silver and gold jewellery inspired by the coastline she surfs and dives, working recycled metal into pieces referencing shells, seahorses and the currents around Three Cliffs Bay and Worm's Head. The gallery also sells her ink drawings paired with her own poems and small oil seascapes. Visitors can sometimes watch metalsmithing demonstrations when Davies brings tools from the workshop bench out into the gallery space. The barn sits a short walk from the Heritage Centre's mill and animals, giving it passing trade from families visiting the wider site. Davies runs the business alone, casting, soldering and polishing each piece by hand.
