Pearson's Nursery and Tearoom sits on Whitemoor Lane on the edge of Collingham, near Newark-on-Trent, where Stephen Pearson established the site in 2007 after earlier running Pearson's Direct Plants and, from 1999, Fossdyke Nursery in nearby Saxilby, Lincolnshire. The nursery grows and sells bedding plants, shrubs and hanging baskets alongside a small tearoom serving light lunches and cakes to visitors browsing the plant beds. Pearson and a small team manage the single site directly, without any other branches. The business has built a following among gardeners in the Newark area for its own-grown stock, raised on the nursery's land rather than bought in from wholesale suppliers elsewhere.
