Atherleys

Bakery on Main Street in Farnsfield, founded in 1936 by George and Nellie Atherley and still in the family: James Atherley owns it and bakes. Bread, rolls, cakes, savouries and sandwiches are all made on the premises each day. Beyond the shop it supplies local farm shops, butchers, schools, hotels, restaurants and cafes, and delivers to the surrounding villages on order.
