Primo Piano is a family-run Italian bistro on the first floor of a building on Leek's Sheep Market, reached by a staircase from street level. The kitchen serves an Italian menu of pasta, pizza and grill dishes for lunch and dinner, with tables usually taken by phone booking rather than an online system. It keeps to a short working week, opening Tuesday to Thursday evenings and adding Friday and Saturday lunch sittings. The bistro has built a following in the Staffordshire Moorlands for home-style cooking served in an unpretentious first-floor dining room, distinct from the ground-floor shops that share the same Sheep Market building.
