Surveyed
A fifty-two-acre Victorian reservoir in the Moorfoot Hills above Temple, held by Scottish Water until it reopened as a fishery in August 2020, after maintenance work had drawn the water down. It holds wild brown trout and is stocked regularly with rainbow, fished from the bank or from a boat, on fly or on bait. Dave Picken manages it. Open six days a week and closed on Wednesdays, with verge parking for about twenty cars a short walk from the water.
