Shoreline Stoneware is a pottery and small gallery run by Louise Cook on the B894 Locheport road in North Uist, close to the croft where she grew up. Cook throws and finishes stoneware on site, using glazes and forms drawn from the colours and textures of the surrounding Atlantic coastline, and the range runs from tableware to decorative pieces. The gallery also sells work by other island makers alongside Cook's own pottery. Opening hours shift through the year: Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm in summer, narrowing to Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm in October, then Wednesday to Friday 11am to 3pm over winter. The business trades as Shoreline Stoneware Pottery & Gallery Ltd, incorporated in 2022. It is reached along a single-track road off the A865, a short distance from Locheport's sea loch on North Uist's eastern coast.
