Stornoway Seafari

Stornoway Seafari runs wildlife and coastal boat trips out of Stornoway Harbour under skipper Gordon Maclean, operating two RIBs, Azula and Our Lily, from berths close to the town's lifeboat station. The scheduled season runs from mid-April to mid-September, with a two-hour trip to nearby lochs and a four-hour run out to the Shiant Isles among the standard options; commercial and private charters are available year-round outside that timetable. Trips focus on the coastline and marine wildlife around Lewis, including seabirds and seals, with dolphins or minke whales possible depending on conditions. It is a small, single-boat operator rather than part of a larger tour group, and customer parking is available at South Beach or the harbour car park. Booking ahead is recommended given the limited passenger capacity of each vessel.
