Opened in November 2009, the blackShed is a contemporary art space among converted farm buildings at Russet Farm, along a farm track just off the A21 at Robertsbridge, overlooking hop fields. The programme covers exhibitions, workshops and longer-term community projects, with framing and gallery hire also offered. The shop carries ceramics, handmade inks and charcoal, books and affordable original works by local artists. Open Tuesday to Friday 11am–3pm and Saturday 10am–4pm, admission free.
