The Cartoon Museum opened to the public in 2006 and moved to its current premises on Wells Street, Fitzrovia, in 2019. Run by the registered charity Cartoon Art Trust, founded in 1988, it holds a collection of British cartoon, comic and caricature art spanning several centuries, with changing exhibitions shown alongside the permanent displays.
