The Little Ale House opened on Cheltenham Crescent in Harrogate in 2016, when Richard and Danni Park left careers in politics and recruitment to run Harrogate's first micropub. Five handpumps serve a rotating selection of cask ales from independent breweries, always including a dark beer, alongside boxed and occasional real ciders, KeyKeg beer, small-batch gins and whisky. Pork pies come from a local butcher, and local photography is displayed for sale on the walls. A 2025 extension added a side room with a fireplace, doubling the pub's original footprint while keeping the same bar counter at the back of the room. Seating extends to a front pavement area and a rear yard, with window service in summer. Opening hours run from early afternoon Friday to Sunday, and from late afternoon Monday to Thursday.
