The PearTree Deli

The Pear Tree Deli has traded from Half Moon Street, close to Sherborne Abbey, since 1996. The deli counter stocks West Country cheeses including Blue Vinny from Woodbridge Farm, alongside cured meats, jams, biscuits, cider and beer sourced mostly from Dorset producers. An adjoining cafe serves lunches and cakes to eat in or take away, using ingredients drawn from the deli's own stock. The business remains a single independent shop rather than part of a wider group, run from the same Half Moon Street premises for close to three decades. Its position within a short walk of Sherborne Abbey and the town's independent shopping streets makes it a regular stop for residents doing a weekly shop as well as visitors picking up picnic supplies before exploring the surrounding countryside.
