The Queens Bedand Breakfast

The Queens Bed and Breakfast occupies an 1830s gothic building on The Loan in South Queensferry, run by Judith and Angela, a Scottish and Australian couple who host guests in four bedrooms named after former queens. Queen Margaret is a super king room, Queen Victoria a double looking towards the town's Jubilee Clock, Mary Queen of Scots a single, and Queen Elizabeth II convertible between a super king bed and two singles. The building keeps original features from its construction, including stonework unusual for South Queensferry's mostly Georgian streets. Breakfast is cooked to order each morning for guests only, drawing on Scottish and Australian dishes reflecting the hosts' backgrounds. The B&B stands a five-minute walk from South Queensferry High Street and around twelve minutes from Hawes Pier, where boats leave for Inchcolm Island.
