Peter Chasseaud's working 18th-century-style wooden Common Press, operational since July 2009 and now at 151 High Street, Lewes, sharing the space with Press Gallery. It prints artists' and writers' own works, with demonstrations of 18th century letterpress printing by appointment. The gallery runs monthly exhibitions by contemporary printmakers; the shop stocks Press publications, cards, prints and books on typography. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.
